Becker Library now provides access to the LWW Health Library: Clerkship / Clinical Rotations Collection for students and faculty. This includes 40 highly recognized titles for Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Surgery, Family Medicine and Psychiatry. Many of these are key series titles previously only available in print – Step-up, Recall, Blueprints, Shelf Life, and BRS.
Students can also access over 4,700 Q&A in internal medicine, OB-GYN, pediatrics, surgery, family medicine and psychiatry and 150 cases organized by rotation and topic. Cases begin with a clinical scenario and progress step by step through the decision-making process of patient management to help students prepare for their upcoming rotation and to promote clinical reasoning skills.
Medical community members can use the special search and navigation functionality to search and browse content across all core rotations or within a specific rotation.
Students and faculty can create a personal account at no cost to enjoy personalization such as quizzing, saved searches, content alerts, robust printing capability, seamless off-site access and access to high-quality images to support teaching and presentations – downloadable into a PowerPoint template.
